Responsibilities:
• Payroll function of 742 employees in 32 stores
• Monthly payroll input on Accsys Peopleware (new employees, terminations, payroll changes, travel claims, leave, maternity & disability case adjustments, savings scheme deductions, acknowledgements of debts, garnishees etc.)
• Weekly payments of store casuals, drivers & other ad-hoc payments
• Follow up on contract workers, death & disability cases & pension withholds
• Process funeral claims & pension withdrawals on terminations
• Investigate monthly payrun variances
• Liaise with stores regarding all salary inquiries
